A new opportunity has been developed in partnership with Thorburn, ZEVOLI9 Training Academy, for General Security Practice Learnerships at NQF Level 3. This opportunity is aimed at empowering youth in South Africa through providing training and skills development, as well as work experience. What is this Learnership Opportunity?
The General Security Practice Learnership at NQF 3 is a 12- month program. It is a combination of classroom teaching and workplace experience. Learners are expected to obtain all elements of the curriculum as well as the workplace skills to perform as a competent, qualified, and skilled NQF Level 3 General Security Practice.
The key parts of the program are aimed at the development of skills, building of competencies, and fostering the capacity for work. The learners are equipped to complete the qualification and are instilled with the confidence, discipline, and depth of understanding to enter the security profession.
Who is an ideal candidate?
ZEVOLI9 Training Academy seeks to attain uncompromised dedication, motivation, and discipline from young people aspiring to be professionals in the field of security. This is particularly aimed at people who have no previous formal work experience and are motivated to learn, make valuable contributions, and serve the community.
The learnership is especially directed at individuals from the following localities:
Kempton Park
Johannesburg (JHB)
Midrand
Tembisa
Soweto
In order to be considered for the program, the applicants are expected to fulfill the set baseline requirements.
Baseline Requirements
The following are the main eligibility criteria of the learnership:
A South African male, aged between 23 and 27 years.
No past criminal offenses— in the field of security, we prioritize trust and integrity.
No current PSIRA registration, as this program is aimed at newcomers to the industry.
We also need a confirmation of educational attainment at Grade 10, 11, or matric level as proof of educational background.
The outlined requirements confirm that the applicants are compatible with the training ecosystem and the prospective roles within the security industry.
Necessary Paperwork
During the application, candidates have to prepare and submit the given documents:
South Africa ID.
School report (Grade 10/11) or Matric certificate.
Bank statement (Recent).
SARS letter or documents.
